Alana De La Garza has made a name for herself through her appearances on TV. De La Garza's parents were both Irish and Mexican American. Her birthplace was in Ohio's Columbus on the 26th of December in 1976. Soon after, she moved to Texas to pursue her training in physical therapy at the University of Texas. De La Garza moved from Texas to Florida, Orlando and was involved in many acting roles. These included independent local film productions as well as international commercials. Even though she was only able to fill small part-time roles, she rapidly discovered her love of acting. Then she moved from New York and in 2001 she landed her first part on the soap opera for daytime viewers All My Children as Rosa Santos. Throughout the early 2000s she had small appearances on JAG Las Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men. In 2004 she landed her first role in a major series on the drama short-lived The Mountain.
