Alana De La Garza has made a name for herself through her appearances on TV. De La Garza's parents were both Irish and Mexican American. Her birthplace was in Ohio's Columbus on the 26th of December in 1976. Soon after, she moved to Texas to pursue her training in physical therapy at the University of Texas. De La Garza moved from Texas to Florida, Orlando and was involved in many acting roles. These included independent local film productions as well as international commercials. Even though she was only able to fill small part-time roles, she rapidly discovered her love of acting. Then she moved from New York and in 2001 she landed her first part on the soap opera for daytime viewers All My Children as Rosa Santos. Throughout the early 2000s she had small appearances on JAG Las Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men. In 2004 she landed her first role in a major series on the drama short-lived The Mountain. De La Garza starred as Maria Serrano alongside top TV celebrities like Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley, Mitch Pileggi. Her most memorable character took place in the year 2006 on Law & Order where she appeared as A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. She appeared on 85 episodes. Her character then flocked to the spin-off show that lasted only a few episodes Law & Order: LA. The character she played earned De La Garza various nominations like Best Supporting Actress - Television by the Imagen Foundation Awards and even multiple ALMA Award noms. In 2008 she received one of the Impact Award for Outstanding Performance in a Dramatic Television Series from the National Hispanic Media Coalition. De La Garza landed a recurring part in CSI Miami a few moments afterwards. She appeared as Marisol Deko in the role of spouse of David Caruso's character Horatio Caine. As Dr. Lena Solis, she has been seen most recently in the NBC drama Do No Harm. The show lasted for two seasons before it was ended. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. Milano is Italian and is the youngest of two sisters Cory. Her family was strict and religious parents. Milano's first professional experience began at seven, the time her babysitter drove for an audition. Milano was among four girls selected from among over 1,000 hopefuls. Milano played in television commercials as well as off Broadway shows, including the first American musical adaptation to Jane Eyre.
